What A Wide Range of Towing Receivers

Posted by Truck Man @ 2:43 pm, February 25th, 2010

Whether you’re hauling a trailer with your truck, adding some extra cargo space to your SUV, or loading up your bike on your car for an afternoon of riding, a trailer hitch is a necessary accessory. Many people only think of towing receivers as a component for the heavy towing of trailers, boats, or cars, but they have other uses too. Valley’s Front Mount Towing Receiver is a standard 2-inch receiver that provides a secure attachment on the front of your vehicle for cargo carriers, winches or other accessories. It is rated up to 500 lbs. tongue weight and 9,000 lbs. line pull. It has a corrosion-resistant, black polyester powdercoat finish and is very easy to install.

Valley Stealth Hitch Receivers are ideal for cars and SUVs that are towing small trailers or for hitch accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers. The receivers stay completely hidden from view by your vehicle’s bumper, maintaining the vehicle’s sleek lines. They have a solid, one-piece construction and are powdercoated with black polyester paint to resist corrosion. These stealth receivers are easy to install with no welding necessary, the hitch simply bolts on.

Curt Trailer Hitches are well-known for their high quality. They feature Weather-Tite construction, which uses state-of-the-art robotics for the ultimate rust-resistant seal.  The receiver tubes have open back ends, which lets dirt and moisture pass right through and not get trapped inside. The open end also makes cleaning much easier. Receivers are de-scaled, powdercoated, then baked for a smooth, high-gloss finish. They are available in a variety of styles: class I to class IV, concealed or exposed, square or round tubing, and drill or no-drill installation.

Suspension Enhancement Systems are now available from BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com! Suspension lift kits raise a vehicle’s frame, body, engine, and power train above the wheels.  This reduces the impact of road irregularities on the driver and passengers. SuperSprings manufactures some great Truck Suspension kits called SumoSprings. They are made out of extremely durable microcellular foam, which is specifically engineered to withstand the tough environment faced by the underbodies of trucks. Installation is quick and easy and requires no drilling. SumoSprings are maintenance-free, come with a 3-year limited warranty, and are proudly made in the USA. T he Rear Suspension Upgrade Kit is ideal for trucks with campers, fifth wheels, and other trailers. It is available in both single and dual rear wheel and has been load tested in excess of 10,000 lbs. Rear SumoSprings also maintain your auto’s front-end alignment. To smooth out your Truck Air Suspension when using snow plows, winches, or other front-mounted accessories, use the Front Suspension Upgrade Kit. Front SumoSprings reduce the bounce and sway that often occurs when using front-mounted accessories.
If your vehicle uses a torsion bar suspension, then SuperSprings’ Torsion Bar Keys are the right product for you. These SuperKeys are 25% stronger than OEM’s keys and fit most Dodge, Ford, and GM vehicles. They provide two inches of front-end lift, which is often needed when using a snow plow, winch, or other accessory that mounts to the front of your truck. They can also eliminate “suspension sag” and make it easier to fit larger wheels. SuperKeys are made in the USA from high-quality US steel. Remember that BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com offers a Lowest Price Guarantee on all three of these products. Trailer Boxes for Extra Gear

Posted by Vehicle Stuff @ 3:01 pm, February 15th, 2007

Last summer some friends of mine and I all headed out to the lake with our truck, trailer, and boat looking for a great time. When we got everything loaded up for the weekend, all our camping gear, clothes, and fishing gear, we realized that we were out of room! We needed a place for some extras and we had no place for them. No one wanted to hold the stuff in their lap, so we had to leave it there, and ended up needing it during our outing. I recently found the Challenger Trailer Boxes, and wow what a difference they have made. They go right on the trailer, something I had not thought of before. All of the extras fit into them, and we had plenty of room for a recent boating excursion. I would definately recommend Challenger Trailer Utility Boxes for anyone who has had the same problem as me. They are easy to assemble, are very sturdy, and are extremely useful.

Truck Hitches Essential For Family Road Trips

Posted by Vehicle Stuff @ 2:35 pm, December 18th, 2006

I recently bought a heavy-duty 5th wheel hitch for a family trip across country. Our big family wouldn’t be able to fit comfortably in our pick-up truck for 20 hours so we decided to hook-up the RV in the back. The hitch was great. My kids said the ride was smooth and they felt safe and secure. The great thing is, hitches come in a variety of sizes to fit everything from motorcycles, cars to huge RVs. They are a great investment for families that like road trips or have cars to transport.

Use a Hitch And Receiver Set

The purpose of a pick-up truck is to carry heavy loads and to move cargo. I don’t understand why so many people try to treat their trucks like frail sports cars, limiting them to everyday travel and trips. Come on! Invest in a good hitch and receiver set and start getting good use out of your truck. Using your pick-up truck more efficiently can help you save money on moving, yard work, car transportation. There are a variety of Truck hitch sizes to use with everything from motorcycles to RVs.
